Ny ansøgningsrunde til akademisk samarbejde

The Fund for Academic Cooperation and Exchange (FACE) har lanceret en ny ansøgningsrunde med deadline 30. marts 2016.

Det gælder ansøgninger til den store pulje på mellem 50.000 kr. og 2.000.000 kr. årligt.

Derudover modtager FACE indtil d. 1. march 2017 ansøgninger til puljen for bevillinger op 50.000 kr. til f.eks. akademisk udveksling, konferencer og møder.

Igangværende projekter

I sidste ansøgningsrunde modtog FACE-sekretariatet otte ansøgninger på projekter over 50.000 kr samt en ansøgning på mindre end 50.000 kr.

Deraf valgte bevillingskomiteen at tildele støtte til tre projekter:

  • Adding Value to the Tunisian Olive Oil Industry by Enhancing Exports of Branded Olive Oil
    Applicants: Department of Management, Aarhus University. Denmark and Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Sfax. Tunisia
  • Inception conference for “Developing a multifaceted integration strategy for Syrian refugee children in Denmark
    Applicants: Roskilde University, Department of Society and Globalisation, International Alert Lebanon and University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Social Sciences

Projekt < 50.000 kr

  • Capacity Building in International NGOs: The Role of Social Media for Human Rights Networks in Morocco”
    Applicants: University of Southern Denmark, University Cadi Ayyad, Human Rights Watch (HRW) Maroc, The Moroccan Assoc. of Human Rights, (AMDH) and The Coordination of the Maghrebian Human Rights Organizations (CMODH)
FACE in short: The FACE- programme is established as a new Danish-Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP) engagement to support academic cooperation between Denmark and the MENA region. The aim of the FACE-programme is to support institutions and individuals in continuing their work in a time, where the political space for independent academia is shrinking.
